External information and internal performance measures were spread across reports and manual queries. Preparing a review meant gathering those separate sources before the discussion could begin.
The task was to provide a shared overview that brought the relevant indicators together for recurring use.
I designed dashboards using SQL, business intelligence tools and automated updates. They combined external indicators with internal measures in a common reporting interface.
The build connected recurring data preparation with a view that teams could return to. Instead of assembling separate reports for each review, users had a shared place to monitor the information.
Putting the indicators together made it easier to consider changes in the wider environment alongside internal performance. The dashboard organised those inputs for review; it did not establish that one caused the other.
This is the distinction I find useful in decision-support work: an interface can make information easier to access and compare, while the interpretation still depends on the question, the underlying definitions and the context of the review.
The dashboards reduced the need to assemble separate reports and gave teams one place to monitor recurring indicators. The practical result was a more consistent starting point for discussion.
