A Python and SQL pipeline that standardised inputs from several sources and generated recurring reporting outputs.

Recurring reports required manual reconciliation and assembly across several sources. Each reporting cycle repeated much of the same preparation work before anyone could begin interpreting the results.
The challenge was to turn those repeated steps into a consistent workflow while retaining a useful output for the people reading the report.
I built a pipeline using Python, SQL and dashboard systems. It standardised the inputs and generated recurring report outputs from the prepared data.
The work linked data preparation with report production. Bringing those stages together meant that recurring outputs could follow a common process rather than being reconstructed independently each time.
Automation was useful here because the reporting task repeated. A shared preparation process reduced the amount of manual assembly needed for each cycle and made the resulting reports more consistent.
That consistency also made interpretation a clearer part of the workflow. Analysts could spend less time assembling the output and more time considering what the figures meant. Automating preparation did not remove the need to review or explain the results.
The pipeline reduced manual report assembly and supported a more repeatable reporting process. This case focuses on the connection between source preparation, recurring output and analyst interpretation.
